Had fun making these, and mom was surprised i didn’t get any chocolate on my dress. Making Brownies is awesome! Almost as good as cookies.
Best Chocolate Brownies
10 tablespoons unsalted butter
2/3 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 F
- Line a 8inch or 9inch metal square pan with parchment paper
- In a large microwave safe bowl combine the 2/3 cup of chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30 second burst until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- While its hot, add the sugar to the mix and whisk vigorously until combined.
- When cool add eggs, vanilla extract and whisk for about 2 min.
- With a spatula stir in flour, cocoa powder and salt until just combined.
- Stir in the 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the lined square baking pan
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out fairly clean and moist.
